Development History
June 1993: External inspection reveals the mill to be disused, though apparently in a useable condition. October 1995: SCT understands that the owner is currently undertaking works to maintain the structural stability of the mill, and has plans to convert it to domestic use. The conversion of the adjacent steading is now complete. December 1996: Outline Planning Permission is granted for conversion into a dwelling. February 1998: External inspection reveals the mill to be repointed but still disused. 11 December 1998: The Donside Piper reports that Outline Planning Permission for a new-build of 4 houses 30m from the mill has been refused. January 2004: Local planners report no change.
February 2008: External inspection finds the mill to be restored and occupied, moved to SAVED.
21 January 2022: Currently being marketed for sale through Purple Bricks. Accepting offers over £140,000.
24 January 2022: Property does not appear to have been fully restored. Moved back to At Risk.
12 January 2023: Property remains under marketing for sale.
5 July 2023: Property remains under marketing for sale.
5 February 2024: Property remains under marketing for sale.
27 August 2024: Marketing details removed.
