4 storey tower with a corbelled and crenellated parapet, formerly the entrance to Glenfinart House. The tower is of polished ashlar and features hoodmoulds and bay and oriel windows. The motto over the porch reads "De Tout Mon Coeur".
Glenfinart was raised on the site of an earlier house with further additions in 1896 by William Hunter McNab. Much of the house was demolished following a serious fire in the late 1960s, leaving the tower and entrance as a free standing structure.

Development History
May 1995: External inspection reveals that only the 4 storey tower now remains of the greater house, the rest having been demolished following fire damage. The tower now stands in a caravan park. January 2002: Local planners report no change, although informal discussions with regards to the building's future are taking place. July 2003: Local planners report that Planning Permission now exists for an enxtension and use as a dwelling, although it remains unimplemented.
27 March 2012: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit. Some trees are growing from the lower roof.
30 March 2022: External inspection finds the building to be generally stable but signs of continued decay. There has been further loss of decorative glazing and rainwater goods are very rusted. The ground floor openings have been covered with timber sheeting and secured to prevent unauthorised access. An established tree is growing from roof area of lower tower.
