Development History
October 1997: External inspection reveals the lodge to be a shell. The North East Scotland Preservation Trust is advancing tentative proposals for restoration as a single dwelling. The lodge remains in council ownership and sits within Aden Country Park.
February 2008: External inspection finds the building to be a roofless shell with exposed wallheads and rapidly decaying masonry
October 2010: External inspection find no significant change from the last site visit. The property continues to deteriorate.
22 October 2013: External inspection finds the building is being covered by ivy.
