Development History
October 1997: The North East Scotland Preservation Trust is advancing tentative proposals for restoration as a single dwelling. The lodge remains in council ownership and sits within Aden Country Park.
February 2008: External inspection finds the building to be a roofless shell with exposed wallheads and deteriorating masonry.
October 2010: External inspection finds no significant change from the last site visit. The building continues to deteriorate.
22 October 2013: Limited external inspection possible due to encroachment by vegetation. The building appears to be in much the same condition as seen previously.
