September 1991: Local planners report that the doocot is ruinous and deteriorating. Most harl is now missing, and the walls are badly cracked. The roof has fallen in. September 2007: External inspection reveals that the exposed wallheads and proximity to the burn may have meant structural damage has occurred.
January 2011: External inspection finds no significant change from the last site visit. The propert continues to deteriorate and is a cause for concern.
31 July 2014: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously. Vegetation continues to encroach on the site.
13 June 2019: External inspection finds the building continues to decline albeit slowly as vegetation encroaches.
