Description
Circular beehive doocot in freestone rubble. Measuring 63ft in circumference at the ground, the wall is taken in above a projecting offset-course. The entrance faces west and a roof aperture allows bird access. Stone nests sit inside. The doocot was originally connected with the house of 'Grymsley' which was burnt by the English in 1544.
