Description
Lectern-type dovecot. Rubble-built with ashlar margins. Door to low south elevation: continuous rat course above, originally curved outwards below paired flight holes on flanks. Stepped skews. Tiered nesting boxes on north, east and west walls. Roofless. (Historic Scotland)

Development History
September 2007: External inspection reveals the doocot is a roofless ruin with evidence that suggests structural damage. Urgent attention may prevent any further deterioration.
January 2011: Limited external inspection possible from a distance. The building remains at risk.
12 June 2014: Limited external inspection possible - from what could be viewed the doocot remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
11 June 2019: Limited external inspection possible as the building is obscured by trees. From what could be viewed, the building would appear to remain in much the same condition as seen previously.
