Development History
October 2008: External inspection reveals that the house is in a very poor condition and has lost its roof. There is substantial timber shoring to the north, east and west elevations. The masonry appears damp in places with large areas of algal growth.
February 2011: External inspection finds the building remains in much the same condition as at the last visit. It is a damp, roofless shell, propped on all sides.
December 2012: Local planners report that a demolition application was granted in October 2011 (DC11/095/LBD). To date, it has not been implemented.
24 April 2013: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit. Risk level raised to Critical as full demolition has been approved.
3 March 2020: External inspection finds the house remains in much the same condition as seen previously. Deterioration continues at pace. The timber shoring remains in place. Consent for demolition expired 28/04/2016. Remains At Risk.
