2 storey with attic stone built house with three dormer windows. Upper storeys reached by external staircase.
A stone plaque, inserted above the southern front elevation of the building, is reputed to have originated from the Bishop's House. Bishop Street was established in 1786 following the demolition of Bishop House, linking Rothesay Castle with the growing harbour. (Argyll and Bute Council)

Development History
December 2009: External inspection finds the upper floors of this simple tenement building in an advanced stage of decay and would appear to have been vacant/ unused for some time.
30 August 2012: External inspection finds the upper storeys remain empty and in poor condition. The ground floor remains in use as a butcher's shop.
15 January 2015: Local planners note the property hs been offered a grant towards repair through the Rothesay THI. Negociations towards the repair and re-use of the property continue.
13 July 2016: A member of the public advises external repair works appear to have been completed. It is unclear whether the upper floors are now occupied. Condition moved to Fair.
