Notice

Following a review of the Buildings at Risk Register we have paused the Register while we consider options for its future.
The website will remain accessible and searchable during this time, but it will not be updated and we’re not accepting nominations for additions to the Register. If you need to contact us about the BARR please email hmenquiries@hes.scot

Read the review report here and you can find out more about why we have paused the BARR on our news centre.

Development History
June 2010: Local planners nominate the building for inclusion on the Register. The property is split into residential and commercial uses. Both are standing vacant at the moment having changed hands recently. Work is required to the roof to stop water ingress.
October 2010: External inspection finds a fine building bit that is unfortunately empty. It is suffering from leaking drainage problems as well as structural deficiencies.
23 October 2013: External inspection finds the ground floor retail unit back in use. The upper floor remains disused and the leaking gutters have not been dealt with.
