Small circular structure, rubble with ashlar margins, rat-course and cornice, door to south with 3 flight-holes over. Bellcast slated roof with slated lantern and centre topped by a ball-finial; bell-cast dormer has tiered flight holes. Nesting boxes of timber. (Historic Scotland)

Development History
24 April 2012: A member of the public advises the doocot is in deteriorating condition. Photographs show a hole in the roof, the door would also appear to be missing. Set to For Investigation.
7 August 2014: External inspection finds the doocot in overall poor condition - there are holes to the roof and the lantern is in need of repair. Walls have sections of collapse and re-pointing required. Timber elements are in need of repair. Move to At Risk.
24 April 2019: External inspection reveals no significant change from previous visit.
