Development History
11 September 2014: External inspection finds the building overall in sound condition to the Hope Street elevation. The roof to the rear has missing slates, flat felt roof areas with damaged seams and a dormer window that appears to be in very poor condition. Rainwater goods to rear are rusted and leaking badly with signficant plant growth alongside the downpipe. A marketing board is advertising the upper floors for sale as a development opportunity. Full Planning Permission for change of use, alterations and extension to public house to form 2 dwellingflats was conditionally approved May 2013 ref: 13/00392/APP.
12 February 2015: The upper floors do not appear to currently being marketed for sale.
31 August 2018: A member of the public notes the property has been marketed for sale through auction. Future Property Auction has set a guide price of £31,500 for the upper floors of the site.
2 July 2019: Local planners report consent for change of use (18/00996/APP)to form 2 dwellings has been conditionally approved.
