Development History
11 May 2016: External inspection finds the upper floors of the building may not be in full use. There are slipped/ missing slates to the roof and rooflights are rusty. The gutter is rusting and leaking. The leaking gutter is causing dampness and damage to sections of the masonry. A buddleia is growing out of a top floor window, which is missing its glazing unit. Pigeons can be seen entering the building. A retail unit trades from the ground floor. The rear elevation was not seen.
1 October 2018: A member of the public notes that Listed Building consent was conditionally approved on 25 September 2018 for change of use to form a restaurant and 8 flatted dwellings (18/00538/LBC).
30 June 2019: A member of the public notes that scaffolding has been erected to the facade.
5 April 2024: Desk-based assessment suggests the building remains at risk. Heras fencing was erected on site May 2023.
