Single storey sandstone gate lodge in Tudor style, with large windows to the ground floor, small vertical openings in the gables above, and a recessed door with chamfered reveal.

Development History
November 1996: External inspection reveals the lodge to be empty, boarded-up and in need of renovation. January 2000: Local planners are unaware of any change. October 2001: External inspection reveals further deterioration to have occurred.
January 2010: External inspection reveals that the roof is now in very poor condition and the western section is now missing. The masonry appears to be damp.
28 October 2014: External inspection finds the roof over the main entrance has now collapsed. Otherwise, the property remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
