Description

Part of a short terrace of 7, 2-storey (possibly formerly single storey) pantiled houses. S elevations of Nos 4, 6 and 10 coursed over random rubble, No 4 cement render and No 10 dry dash; all random rubble to N. Raised stone margins. Eaves lintel course. Quoin strip to NW, droved quoins to SE and SW.

The traditional and vernacular character of this terrace is enhanced by the irregularity of traditional pantiles. School Lane, to the rear of the cottages, boasts a fine cobbled surface. (Historic Scotland)
