Following the review of the Buildings at Risk Register the decision has been taken to pause the BARR in order to consider long-term options for its future.
The existing BARR website will remain accessible as a resource, however it will not be updated and we're not accepting nominations for additions to the Register.

Development History
June 1992: Local planners report that the doocot is roofless and ruinous, with peeling harl. It suffers from vandalism.
November 2008: External inspection reveals that the doocot is in a ruinous state. Due to problems accessing the site, it was only possible to view the north and east elevations. However, archive photographs show that much of the south elevation has been lost.
February 2010: External inspection finds the doocot remains derelict and in a ruinous condition. The front wall has collapsed above the string course. The wallheads have not been consolidated. Some upper nesting boxes have collapsed. Grass is beginning to take hold in cracks and on flat surfaces.
15 April 2013: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit.
11 April 2019: Inspection finds the doocot remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
