Development History
June 2008: A member of the public nominated the building for the Register on the basis of its condition.
November 2009: External inspection finds a lack of general maintenance externally which would suggest there may be other problems within. Moved to At Risk.
December 2011: External inspection finds no significant change from the previous site visit. Gutters have been further damaged, and general decline continues.
19 May 2015: External inspection finds timber elements have been repainted and rainwater goods to the front elevation have been repaired, although they remained damaged to side and rear elevations. Otherwise, the building remains in much the same condition as seen previously.
21 February 2019: The site is under marketing for sale through appointed agent Ryden. Offers over £200,000 are being sought.
6 August 2019: Local planners advise the property has been sold to a new owner.
25 May 2021: External inspection finds some renovation works have commenced. A new roof has been installed and the front elevation has been repointed. The crack between the building and adjoining boundary wall has been repaired. Timber elements undergoing repair work. Condition moved to Fair, Risk level reduced to Low. Moved to Restoration in Progress.
