Development History
1 October 2012: The Courier reports Perth and Kinross Council have approved a new build scheme by company Upland Developments to include a hotel, houses and new shop units. The project will involve the demolition of Bank House. The article reports Pitlochry and Moulin Community Council had submitted objections to the scheme, along with Pitlochry Conservation Society. For Investigation.
8 May 2014: External inspection finds the building disused with an overgrown garden area. The roof is in fair condition but valleys require attention. Rainwater goods are blocked in places. There are damp patches evident to walls. Timber elements are in need of maintenance. Conservation Area Consent for demolition of the building to clear a wider site for a mixed use - residential, hotel, retail - new build development (12/00266/FLL) was conditionally approved April 2013 ref: 12/00359/CON. Moved to At Risk.
19 July 2024: Desk-based assessment suggests the building remains disused and At-Risk.
