Description

Single-storey, 3-bay cottage. Dry-dash, slate roof. S ELEVATION: set-back behind low wall; central door with flanking sash and case windows, 2-pane at left, multi-pane upper sash at right; central small rooflight, gable stacks with thackstane. E ELEVATION: gable at left with off-centre window; 2 windows and door at extension at right, coped ridge stack. (Historic Environment Scotland List Entry)

Development History
14 January 2013: Nominated for the Register by a member of the public. Full demolition being sought in favour of redeveloping the site into 16 flats. For Investigation.
18 June 2013: Full demolition on ground beyond economic repair and not of special interest, refused as found not demonstrated ref: 12/00840/LBC Feb 2013.
13 May 2016: External inspection finds the cottage appears, externally, to overall be in good condition. Some minor slate slippage is evident, the side elevation downpipe couldn't be viewed. The walls are heavily cement harled. The property may be in occupation. Alert to monitor.
20 June 2016: Local planners note that the previous applications for demolition were refused. Property may be occupied. Moved to NFR at this time.
14 April 2020: Member of public advises that applications for Listed Building Consent and Planning Permission for the partial demolition of the building and the erection of 3 dwellinghouses have been submitted to Dundee City Council (Ref. No: 20/00205/FULL & Ref. No: 20/00206/LBC). Moved to At Risk.
27 April 2022: Member of public advises that applications Ref:20/00206/LBC and 20/00205/FULL for the partial demolition of the building and the erection of 3 dwellinghouses have been refused as of 25 April 2022.
